Global Internship Program
The Global Internship Program (GIP) is a non-credit bearing program that focuses on providing professional opportunities to Ohio State students from May to August in China. Selected student interns will be provided with internship experience, networking opportunities with local alumni and online professional training course on Carmen. There is no cost to participate in the program but students are responsible for their own transportation and accommodation expenses.

Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for enthusiastic interns who are capable to support the Kantar Consulting (Retail Practice) – eCommerce & Omnichannel team to deliver quality consulting and insight to the clients in Shanghai office.
You will be supporting key team members in daily operation such as research, presentation preparation and etc.
You will report to one of our project managers and work in several areas of our business
The work will be varied and project based
Your work will involve liaising with associates and members of our team including those working abroad.
In terms of technologies, you are likely to be using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and a lot of web browsing.
We seek highly motivated individuals eager to experience and learn more about a career with a major global firm.
Daily work involves desk research, data analyze, PPT making, writing interview notes and etc.
Have a good sense of retail (especially in eCommerce)
Be open minded to learn new things & be a quick leaner
Detail oriented, nice attitude, excellent communication skills & good at team work
Proficient in PPT & Excel. Advanced skills in PPT
Business proficiency in written & oral English required. Both English & Chinese are required during daily work.
Experience in related consulting industry preferred
Available for at least 3 days a week (4-5 days preferred). Long-term intern (3 months or longer) preferred
